The Aglaia natural paint range has evolved out of the historic paint production methods. They are not a modified form of modern synthetic petrochemical paints.

The recipes used in the manufacture of Aglaia are more authentic than many other ' period paints'. The Aglaia historic colour range is a well researched interpretation of English, Welsh and Scottish colours from pigments that have been used since at least the seventeenth century. No synthetic pigments are involved.

As well as the authenticity of the historic paint range, customers can be assured of getting high rates of vapour permeability.  Aglaia natural paints will allow your walls and timber to ‘breathe’.

The historic range includes:

Lime Wash
Casein Bound Distemper
Casein Emulsion
Natural Emulsion
Water Based Flat Oil Paint
Natural Exterior Oil Paint for wood and metal
Interior Oil Paint for wood
